Khla, a Khmer word meaning 'tiger', is a family business built on respect for the land and its people. Located in Tuol Tom Poung, Phnom Penh, the shop offers a carefully curated selection of Kampot peppers (black, red, white), Asian teas, salt and rare spices, all organic-certified to European and American standards.
Born from a passion for flavours and Cambodian agricultural heritage, the Khla project started in 2014 before officially establishing itself in Cambodia in 2018. Today, the company employs over twenty people across three locations: Khla Lodge in Kampot, the workshop in Phnom Penh and the shop in Siem Reap. The pepper is sourced directly from Kampot farmers, ensuring full traceability and quality.
Khla also partners with numerous hotels and restaurants in the region and offers a range of teas in biodegradable sachets designed for the hospitality industry. An essential address for bringing home an authentic and traceable souvenir from Cambodia.
